Hot Spring Bath in Kansai Airport Spa Hotel Garden Palace
I stayed here for three nights after flying into KIX; Izumisano is a relatively quiet suburb close to the airport, with frequent and fast trains into Osaka. The breakfast is very traditional, made up of multiple small dishes - highly recommended if you'd like to try a variety of Japanese cuisine, and the miso soup in particular was delicious. The onsen is lovely and open for a large portion of every day; I had it to myself both times that I visited. The room, like the whole hotel, was clean and comfortable. Really the standout aspect was the staff - they could not have been more hospitable, kind and patient and they really went above and beyond at check-out, saving my onward journey! I really recommend staying here, particularly as a place to relax and recuperate before or after a flight.

With a small fee we got a van transfer from the hotel to Kansai airport. Everything that we requested from staff was handled politely and efficiently. Example small packet sending between hotels and luggage storage for a few hours after check out.

The price was good, the rooms were big, the private onsen and public onsen were AMAZING! Also did a private traditional dinner which was also an amazing price and great food!

The room was really nice with tatami mats in one end of the room and western style beds in the other. Toilet and shower were separate which is also nice. Transfer from the nearby Hineno Station was very efficient and punctual; the van arrived just 10 minutes after we called the reception.
